Another long week has quickly passed.Been busy at work keeping up with the pressure. The only worthy update is that I'm gonna have my ID soon! Which means I can finally learn more about the job I'm doing, and not just being the paper boy around the office. The boss finally decided upon it after constant persuasion from my colleague. Pretty funny I would say. Finally approving it after 2 months of working here. Can't wait to get it!Left work on time yesterday cause I was gonna meet Ling to celebrate our 8th monthsary. How time flies when the one you love is by your side. We both had cravings for Xiao Long Bao from Ding Tai Feng. Only thing we forgot, was that Ding Tai Feng does not offer reservations, especially since its a Friday night. Ended up, we had to outlet hop, from Raffles City, to Wisma Atria, before finally deciding on the Paragon Branch. But at least our wait did not go to waste. We ate till we could barely walk! Highly recommended are the Original Xiao Long Bao, as well as this other Oriental Dumpling in Vinegar and Chili. Twice we went, and twice we were not disappointed. All in all, our monthsary was well celebrated again, as usual. Looking forward to our next monthsary, even right now!Well, at least this entry revitalises my Blog for now. Will not let my Blog die away! Rest assured!

So much has happened this past week. I'll just briefly go through everything i suppose.Ling and I went down to RELC on Monday, thinking to accept UOL's offer for BSc - Business, cause the deadline was the 17th of May. I thought that I should just sign up for it as UOL starts lessons in August. Tuesday, we went down to SIM, to submit my reply slip and to make the first payment for the UOL course fee. Little did we expect, that same evening, after submitting the fees, I received the letter informing me of a place at RMIT.Thought about the Pros and Cons of UOL and RMIT on Wednesday while working, and I asked so many people about their opinions. Contradicting replies though. Some said UOL is more recognized, others said that RMIT's better. But still, my final decision is to go RMIT. I feel that I need the stress of the projects to push myself to excel. If I take UOL, I'm afraid that I'll slack off again, as it is examination-based, pretty much like JC. That's why I chose RMIT. Bachelor of Business Management sounds alittle better too. :xAnd so, I took some time off on Thursday morning again, to go down to SIM to check some details. Pretty silly, cause all I did was to submit my RMIT reply slip, and the lady told me that transferring/withdrawing from a course only required a write-in by myself either via snail mail or email, confirming that I would like to opt out, other than the SGD 107 administrative fee that will be deducted from my payment, of course.Went down to AMK after the short trip to SIM. Wanted to collect our new Couple Rings. Yes, we got a new pair. Ling's ring was the wrong size. Really amazed how she could bear the discomfort all this while. Well anyways, was very excited to go collect it, and hence, I went down on Thursday, the earliest time set to collect it. The salesgirl must think I'm really excited. Haha.Went down to Ling's place after that. Had brunch at her place, her 爱心午餐 of Instant noodle and Luncheon Meat with Egg. It was really good! I quite like soggy noodles I must say. So much nicer to slurrrrrp it all up. Hehe. At least she looked so much better that day, considering that she wasn't feeling too well. Heard her practice her new song for the Singing Presentation thingy on Friday too. Again, glad it went well, except for the few small minor observations.Saturday. I was thinking of some dinner plans. Din't quite work out though. Was just a lazy lethargic Saturday where staying in and playing the computer was the thing to do. Had dinner at one of the ZiCha stalls nearby my place. Food wasn't too bad. I ate till I could barely move. Rather have Ling's dinner though. CRAB WOW! :x Anyways, Granny din't feel too good after dinner when we came home. She threw everything out. Dad says I shouldn't plan Granny to dine out with us. Her appetite really quite weird lately.Had a minor disagreement with Ling late last night too. I'm largely to blame.I'm sorry.

Movie marathons are fun, especially when you're watching it with the one you love. Know that sounds cheesy, but I really mean it from the bottom of my heart.Watched "Iron Man" and "What Happens in Vegas" yesterday with Ling with a mini Movie Marathon yesterday. Boy the action in "Iron Man" and the romance from Vegas did bring alot of entertainment, I must say. No spoilers here, so I won't go into details, but I really enjoyed Vegas. I felt it was a real tear-jerker.Ling and I also went to make another pair of "Rings of Heart" yesterday too. Finally decided to get a new one as her current one is alittle too tight for her. Similar engravements to symbolize our relationship together, but I think this one will be so much nicer. Let's just say it was love at first sight (again). We had dinner at the coffeeshop. Chicken rice that Ling recommended. We ordered quite alot, and yes, we finished everything again! Fattening? I guess so. But its quite alright for me I guess. As long as there's someone who wants. :xOur late evening was pretty fruitful too! I had singing lessons from the Maestro herself, my Dear Ling! She made me sing so loudly! Cause I have a pretty bad habit of singing softly as I'm afraid to go off tune. But she gave me the confidence to sing louder, and sing normally. Guess I need more practice sessions soon! Hehe. All in all, it was a very productive day for us, I must say. Gonna wrap it up here for now. Gotta go down to RELC Examinations Bureau tomorrow to register for my place at SIM-UOL. Yes, that's right! I got a place at University now. Guess it means I won't have to bum around for another entire year. Phew!Im off!

Must say yesterday was a really productive day for me.Received my letter from UOL that offered me a place in their University. But mom says to hang on to it for abit longer, to see if RMIT does offer me a place as well. Perhaps she wants me to take on RMIT as it is more project-based, and might be better for me, as if I fail the ONE MAJOR PAPER from UOL, all the time, effort and money that are put into this Tertiary education will be wasted. Still considering it though, leaving my options open. After that I went to meet Ling, Lena, Hong Kun and Birthday MAN Anfernee for the birthday celebration at kBox Suntec. Had a really good time singing, and YES!, I've improved. Hooray! Sang quite a number of songs yesterday. But yeah, Im still bad at it. Very out-of-tune. Ha! They say people who can play guitar usually sing out-of-tune, I guess its true. After kBoxing, we went over to Beach Road area for dinner. Had dinner at a place called Creation Cafe. The food there is pretty similar to that at Miss Clarity Cafe, but its relatively cheaper, and somehow, more filling. Perhaps its due to the Potato Chips and Nuggets from the kBox set thingy that made me so full. :x I don't know. Ha!After dinner, we walked over to Clarke Quay for a drink at one of the Riverside Pubs. We went to this particular one called Cafe Iguana. Pretty nice place I must say. But only drawback is that they only offered Tequila-based cocktails. Not really to my fancy I must say, but it tasted good nonetheless. Ordered a Peach Margarita for myself, Ling had Soursop, Lena - Raspberry and Anfernee had Banana flavoured. The funniest comment for the night was that we were drinking fruit juice, rather than cocktails. Ha! Next time if we have another opportunity, will probably let Ling try the Cosmopolitan. Think she'll like it. But till next time, that is!Well, Im gonna stop here for now. Gotta prepare some lunch first. HUNGRY!

Just got back from work awhile ago. Pretty long day I must say. Lucky most of the processors managed to finish up pretty early today. So I'm let off early too! Heh.Finally got some time to blog about yesterday's trip too. Woke early despite sleeping late (I'm pretty good at that, I must say). Reached the pond around 845-ish. Then Ling came over after that and we had an EXCELLENT breakfast. Let me picture it for you. Lor Mee, Bah Chor Mee, Har Gao, Siew Mai, Pork Rib and Prawn Chee Chong Fan. Need I say more? Totally skipped lunch after a breakfast like that. :xDin't have luck back at the pond that day though. Ling and Jessie were into catching the small fishes, but I had my sights on the big one, which apparently never came. But at least Ling had a great time learning to cast as well as feel the nibbling bites of the fish. Did feel a few tugs on the big rod though, but only empty hooks came back after reeling the lines back in.Had a pretty fun time too at the playground. Din't I mention? There's a playground for kids at the pond area for kids to entertain themselves while their parents fish. Ling and I hogged the See-Saw till a near fatal accident almost got me SERIOUSLY injured. :x Shall not go into details though. Its for me to know, and for you to never find out! Ha! We then went on to something which is called "Roll like Hell". As the name suggests, it really rolls like hell. Lucky for the more massive built like me, my momentum allows me to stop. Ling on the other hand, well, let's just put it she liks to roll alot. :x We hogged the swing too. Ling pushed so hard that I flew out of the swing. :x Think I can be a Hollywood stuntman when I grow up. :xHad dinner at the Xing Wang Cafe over at White Sands, Pasir Ris. Apparently they could not serve the baked rice thingy till after ten. So I had Spicy Pork Ramen (Dry), and Ling ordered Salted Fish Flied Lice. No pictures to show here, but it wasn't too bad. We ordered an Ichee Lice Blended too. It was FANTASTIC! No joke about that. I'd strongly recommend it.After dinner, we went to buy food for Brownie. I think I very good to him. Blanjah him dinner. :x OH! And I got Spongebob a BEST FRIEND! YUP! I bought a Patrick Star yesterday evening too. They look so happy together sitting by my bedside. Heh.Well, I guess that's that. TGIF, looking forward to Saturday! :D

Well. since Ling has covered most of Yuelin's party in her blog, I shall cover some other details that Ling din't mention. Namely, 4D! Ha! What she din't mention is that her mom was so lucky yesterday! 1st Prize! Her dad too struck iBet. Really lucky! Won't say so much, but I'm hoping I'll get a lucky break for tonight's draw. There's something Ling and I are wanting to get. :xShall leave it at that! :x
